11th Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Peace March

Students chose to feature Harriet Tubman, exemplifying “Female Trailblazers” in this year’s January march.  Carrying all of previous years’ puppets, the entire student body walked from Grace Church School to Union Square. Throughout the day, conversation and activity centered around diversity and women trailblazers. High school students and some alumni designed and led workshops for the second Annual Diversity Symposium. The Middle School Assembly featured readings about women trailblazers, original poetry and a performance by the Middle School Dance Ensemble.
