Unplug to Connect

Grace students and faculty unplugged from technology to investigate the impact of digital life at school during the fifth annual GCS Unplug to Connect Day. Students, faculty, staff and administrators were challenged to spend the school day without computers, Smartboards, iPads, cell phones and even copy machines as a way to highlight our growing reliance on technology and how the world can expand without it. Students picked up pads and pencils, led a panel on mindfulness and technology, joined a creative writing workshop and went on a walking tour of the neighborhood with the executive director of the Village Alliance.
