NYC Scholastic Award Recipients
Sophie Frances '16 earned a National Medal from the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards for her artwork ”Compress.” Her work was featured at the Metropolitan Museum in the Uris Center for Education through May and she was honored in a ceremony at Carnegie Hall on June 2. Sophie was also asked to represent the Scholastic Award winners at the United Nations.
Luke Abramowitz ‘21, won a Silver Medal at the National level for a visual artwork. His work was adjudicated as in the top 1% of 320,000 submissions this year.
