Pinewood Derby
Grade 4 students, with the help of the High School physics and engineering classes, staged Grace’s first annual Pinewood Derby in May. Students worked on their cars all year long -- conceiving, designing, building and painting to exact specifications. The race took place in front of the High School Division on a custom track with a digital timer. Gold, Silver, and Bronze prizes were awarded as well as a prize for best design.
