Mandarin IV Students win Gold

Mandarin IV students won the Gold Medal at the annual "NYU Rock That Movie" competition in early May.

It was the first time Grace students participated in the competition with over 20 high schools participating from NYC, NJ, DC and CA. This competition was started to encourage students learning Chinese to make movies demonstrating their language study. Participating students Miguel Dauhajre, Joey Fox, Jade Hui, Felix Ma and Adrian Oxley put in a lot of effort both inside and outside of the classroom including script writing, directing, acting, filming, and movie editing. Of over 30 movie submissions, Grace was the only project to receive a gold medal award. Congratulations on a job well done!
