Griffins Finish the Fall Season Strong
Propelled by the energy and excitement of September’s Spirit Day and Homecoming Weekend, Grace’s athletes ran, kicked, blocked, volleyed, and lobbed their way through October’s challenges and triumphs to cap off an incredible fall season.
The boys varsity soccer team captured the New York City Athletic League (NYCAL) Regular-Season Championship and will represent Grace in the New York State Association of Independent Schools (NYSAIS) tournament next week. Junior varsity girls volleyball finished the regular season with a 7-5 league record, securing second place. They went on to beat Trevor Day in the championship match to become NYCAL postseason champions! Boys Varsity cross country won the bronze medals, led by Oscar Paduano's '27 4th-place individual finish. Girls varsity tennis finished as NYCAL semi-finalists after an impressive 7-3 regular season.
